I started this piece during the summer right before frosh week started (school).. i coloured around september.
then fixed things up last week and added a bg. I think i lack range of colours in my art, all my pieces are too monotonous. When i came to fix things up last week, it was too late, the entire foreground was all green, i thought it wouldn't look good to suddenly use another colour for the background, so i stuck to green =________________________=..
do you color with your colors ahead of time or do you color in grayscale and add colors later? If not, you might want to experiment with grayscale, since it could give the comfort of useing generally one color while still allowing you to experiment a great deal.
I'm not fan of green color, but this rendition is just amazing! She looks cute, but with kinda evil yet. The way you did the hair and her eyes is great!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
